CORRE provided construction oversight and inspection services for this mediumĀ complexity multistage project which consisted of reconstructing the STH 23 and STH 73 intersection, and 10 miles of intersection improvements with milling and paving of STH 73. Besides restricting a right turn movement for a short duration, the project was mostly constructed under traffic utilizing flagging operations.

The project included staged construction, grading, asphalt surface milling, base aggregate dense, HMA PWL pavement, concrete pavement, culvert replacement, concrete curb and gutter, guardrail, erosion control, pavement marking, traffic control, and all incidentals.

The project team solved issues arising during grading operations and worked through inconsistent PWL core testing results. For the PWL test strip day, CORRE provided the needed eight staff to move samples, oversee coring, and inspect the other operations occurring that day.
