STH 59, Edgerton to Whitewater

CORRE provided construction oversight and inspection services for this pavement rehabilitation project on STH 59 from Vickerman Road to the East County Line. The project involved curb and gutter replacement, distressed milling and HMA patching, minor grading, culvert pipe work and lining, HMA and PWL paving, shouldering, erosion control, signing, pavement marking, and other incidentals. Work was performed under traffic with flagging operations. Staff managed plan and special provision changes before and during construction with the contractor and department. Staff also used their experience to identify pavement problem areas and worked with the contractor to put corrective actions in place.
