CORRE provided construction oversight and inspection services for this multi-stage project which consisted of two structures and one half mile of roadway repair.
Structure work consisted of joint replacements, deck preparation, surface repair, thrie beam attachment blocks, concrete overlays, and approach overlays. Part of the project also included grading for barrier systems, adjusting inlets, and curb removal and replacement.
Roadway work consisted of curb and gutter removal and replacement, concrete base patching and repair, HMA pavement, and permanent pavement marking.
The project team solved issues that arose during work operations and maintained a safe site by proactively adding and modifying the traffic control devices to fit the needs of each stage. Weekly updates to the public and stakeholders kept commuters safe and informed.
