CORRE provided construction oversight, inspection, materials testing, and document controls for this large-scale project on WisDOT’s I-43 North-South corridor which included seven bridge replacements, one box culvert, three noise walls, seven retaining walls, six sign structures, and concrete paving on both the northbound and southbound mainlines. All work was completed while remaining open to traffic utilizing staged interim lane closures.

I-43 mainline reconstruction work included concrete pavement, staged temporary and permanent pavement marking, and traffic control with lane closures utilizing a Basic Traffic Queue Warning System to alert motorists of stopped or slow traffic ahead.
