USH 151, CTH DE/Jackson Rd Intersection

CORRE provided construction oversight and inspection services for this multistage project which converted the intersection of USH 151 and CTH DE/Jackson Road from a traditional two-way stop to a Restricted Crossing U-Turn (RCUT) intersection. Old turn lanes were removed and new ones constructed. The project included: grading, storm sewer, concrete curb and gutter and sidewalk, HMA pavement, lighting, pavement markings, and permanent signing.
The project team solved issues arising during grading operations, including adjusting grades to best fit field conditions. CORRE also maintained a safe site for the traveling public by adding and modifying the traffic control devices to fit the needs of each stage. In addition, they coordinated with nearby projects and accommodated oversized trucking throughout the corridor.
