Core Spaces, Oliv Madison Project

Core Spaces, Oliv Madison Project
Specialty Services | Historical

Core Spaces, a residential development and management company, was in the midst of designing and executing plans for the mixed-use Oliv complex in downtown Madison. The project fell within the State Street Historic District and called for the demolition of four buildings.

CORRE prepared and submitted the necessary documentation for State Preservation Historic Office (SHPO) Review and Commentary on a State Undertaking to WDNR, which resulted in a finding of Adverse Effect. The documentation for this project required an expedited timeline to meet the overall project deadlines. CORRE completed a site visit to the project area, extensive research, mapping, and mitigation. The documentation and mitigation plan were approved by both SHPO and WDNR and construction of the project was able to move forward on time.
