Proud to Support Wisconsin’s Trail System!

July 27th, 2017

CORRE was recently selected to lead the design of two crucial trail linkages in southern Wisconsin, the Glacial Drumlin State Trail in Dane County and the Lake Country Trail in Waukesha County.

The Glacial Drumlin Trail project from Madison to Cottage Grove in Dane County will provide the final link in a continuous bicycle trail corridor stretching from Milwaukee to Dodgeville.

Our trail planning and design team will provide the County and WisDOT with survey, preliminary design, environmental studies, railroad coordination, extensive structure design and permitting, WisDOT reporting, and final PS&E for this six-mile section of trail between the existing IH 39 railroad underpass in Madison to the CTH N Trailhead in Cottage Grove.

The Lake Country Trail Underpass in Oconomowoc will provide for grade-separated access across STH 67 at its intersection with Oconomowoc Parkway, connecting the existing Lake Country Trail on either side of the expanded highway.

Our trail planning and design experts will utilize state-of-the-art LiDAR technology to provide Waukesha County and WisDOT with 3D survey data, preliminary design, environmental studies, structure design, permitting, WisDOT reporting, and final PS&E for the grade-separated connection. This project will enhance safety and convenience for trail users and residents of Oconomowoc’s growing community.

CORRE is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of improving Wisconsin’s recreational infrastructure and is excited to begin working with Dane and Waukesha Counties on the design of these two important trail extensions.
