We are seeking a highly motivated qualified Environmental Specialist with expertise in wetland delineations.

Description
  • Responsibilities to include field investigations for wetland delineations.
  • Coordinating with the client, other agencies, and design team members to ensure compliance with agency guidelines.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with team members, clients and other agencies.
  • Handling multiple deadlines and producing high-quality work under tight schedules.
  • Assisting with business development of additional environmental deliverables.
Qualifications

  • Holding, or having the ability to obtain, WDNR "Wetland delineation professional assured" status is desirable, but not required.
  • Experience with hand held GPS or traditional survey equipment is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with completing wetland field work and reporting for WisDOT and transportation improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for environmental related work.
  • Familiarity with local WDNR permitting requirements.
  • Other environmental certifications or expertise is considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to provide own transport to project sites as necessary.
